Day One…

imageOk. Here it goes. I’ve been wanting to dive in to the blogosphere for some time now, but I honestly did not have the courage. I kept asking myself “why would anyone care what I’m doing in my day to day life?” Then, one day (yesterday to be exact) I stopped asking why and instead asked…why the hell not??

So, first things first. I’m creating this blog to share my lifestyle with you. I love looking at blogs all day everyday and the ones that captivate my attention most are all lifestyle based. I love everything from fashion to travel to health hacks to relationships. Along the way, I got inspired to share my point of view with the world (insert hair flip here). As I post more you will read more about the realms of what I believe is a fabulous life.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I will actually tell you who I am…and why I think we should be friends. My family and I live in a beach town in Florida where I swear they pump endorphins into the air. I am a new mama to a beautiful baby girl, Sloane. I’ve been married to her daddy, Blake, for over 4 years. My husband and I are a silly fun-loving couple that never takes anything too seriously. With that said, I’m sure my husband’s wild, off the wall acts would actually provide enough material for a daily post. Along with us, we also have a quirky little pup named Remi. And if I could imagine what his voice would sound like it would resemble Goofy from Mickey Mouse. ย When we added a new baby into the mix of our lives, things just got even whackier (in the best way possible, of course).

When it comes to health, my husband and I are total opposites. I am a lover of all things healthy, whole, and natural, and am always up to try the new (sometimes weird) health trends. Blake, however, is satisfied with his steak and potatoes.

Along with my healthy food addiction, I am a total freak about fashion. But, seriously. In high school I had to write my own obituary (yes, in a writing class) and I described my death as being hit over the head with a Manolo Blahnik during an aggressive shoe fight at Bergdorf Goodman. And to this day can still see that happening. Speaking of Bergdorfs, I was an intern in their buying office my senior year of college. Which just increased the psychosis.

Health and fashion are just two of my many passions. You can expect to see lots of posts on things like natural energy remedies to the latest trend the T-Swift gang is wearing. And, of course it wouldn’t be a MOMosa post without a cocktail (or five) thrown in

Well, that was my first post! I hope this is the first of many you read at Momosas.

Cheers!
