:: Secret :: Clay Mask

When it comes to skincare products, the best stuff comes in the pretty packages and sits on the high-end side of the shelf. I mean, it doesn’t work unless it’s in a decoupage box wrapped in 24k gold leafed paper and then kissed by the angels of skincare, right? Wrong! Even though I’m a sucker for anything aesthetically pleasing, I will be the first to say that the best things do not always come in the prettiest packages.

Working in a skincare clinic, I can be a total snob and very skeptical when someone tells me about a new product they have discovered. That being said, when my cousin told me about this mask I was not expecting to like it. At all. The packaging looks like some sort of witch potion you could get at a gas station.

It is the Aztec Indian Healing Mask. TA DAAAAA
I mean, come on #amiright?
Now, DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! This mask is amazing. I have been using it for several weeks before I could justify doing a post about it, even though I was sold after the first time. You seriously can feel your pores unclogging as it pulsates while your skin is getting so deeply clean. My makeup even looks better after I’ve done it.

It is the easiest concoction, too. Just take 1 tbsp clay and combine it with 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, mix together and apply very generously all over face (this amount is a lot for some, I however, apply it very thick all over). Let sit and harden for about 15-20 mins then scrub clean.

I’ve been doing this mask once a week for 6 weeks now and can seriously tell a difference in my skin.
Now for the GIANT news. IT’S ONLY 10 BUCKS ON AMAZON!!!!! I purchased the 1 lb size and that will last for so long.
Now, pour yourself some wine, draw a bath, and get your facial on. Happy skincaring 🙂
Thanks for visiting Momosas!
